OVERVIEW

Andy Schmeder received the B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002. His areas of expertise include applied mathematical modeling, numerical optimization, acoustics, optics, electronics, auditory and visual perceptual psychophysics. Between 2006-2011 he served as academic staff with the research group at the Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT, UC Berkeley) where he specialized in the theory and practice of spherical loudspeaker arrays. Andy is now active full-time in the private sector where he is currently VP of Technology for EnChroma Inc., a new company founded in Berkeley CA.
